Yo Yo Yo..

So school starts on Thursday for me. Senior year! Class of 2007 fa sho!! I'm SOOO ready to be a senior. I'm soo ready to be finished with high school. This is probably going to be the most eventful and interesting year of any high school year for me.

For those of you who don't know, which i'm assuming is all of you, my mother signed me up for band without giving me any warning! I get home from work last sunday and my mom was like "oh yeah...i signed you up for band. so you have to go to band camp tomorrow with Hayden." CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?! I hadn't picked my flute since the 8th grade, and now my senior year of high school she expects me to get up and play it in a band!? march in the band?! I was soooo angry.. so the next day i went to band camp, and it actually wasn't that bad. The uniforms are hideous, but it could be worse.

Things that I'm doing this school year: Playing soccer, marching in the band, part of NHS, NSHSS, the "who's who of american high school students" deal, applying to KU, K-State, Life Pacific, UNT, and (maybe) UT Austin and Texas A&M. (The others really don't matter, I'm going to KU), taking the ACT, and hopefully getting some scholarships!!!

Went school clothes shopping. Got some amazingly cute clothes from Hollister, The Buckle, and American Eagle. WAY excited!! I love new clothes.. :)

Sooo... Sunday Jon left for KU. I miss him already! Y'all have to understand I haven't gone a single day this summer without seeing him at least once. This school year is going to be a tough one! I only get to see him twice a month because he doesn't have a car anymore! I'm the only one with a car, and my parents are only letting me drive down there every other weekend... so that stinks.... I'm gonna go crazy!!!!!!

So that's what I have to say for now. I'm really gonna work harder on updating this thing more often. I'm such a slacker, but I like myspace better.. lol.. I love you guys!!

Anyone who's anyone is going to buy the new Skillet CD coming out on October 3rd!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOSH SKILLET WAS SO FREAKING AMAZING I CAN'T EVEN PUT IT INTO WORDS!!!!! They played one of their new songs "rebirthing" and it's just so amazing... i love them!!

The One Way Festival was out of this world amazing. Lots of great bands, but Skillet was supreme... I love them.... I think I might have said that... ;)

School starts in T minus 1 week and 6 days!! Geez la weez!!!!! I can totally wait for school to start because (A) I hate school (B) I have to wake up insanely early... (C) (the thing i can wait for the most) Jon is going to KU and I'll only get to see him maybe once a week or once every two weeks!! GEEEEEEEEEEZZZZ....uuuggghhhh........ BUT he's going to have so much fun up there, so I'll just be happy for him....

well guys... i love you all... i'm going to go swim some laps with Jon and Luke, and then going to Lawrence with Aley... then... tonight all my siblings get home from California and my Mommy from Mexico... then... Thursday it's back to work....wo0t??... Then Friday is Jon and I's 3 month!! Woo Hoo!!!

Bonjour!

Today is yet another hot and humid July summer day in the state of Kansas. I'm sitting the cool post library typing away at another pointless update on my xanga.. Sorry guys, but not much to talk about... lol

I've been having a little "scary movie" fest... I watched "Urban Legend", "Scream", "The Skeleton Key", and "The Grudge" in the past few days. They were all pretty good movies, but I have yet to get scared by any of them. I'm quite proud of myself!! Yeah, I dig scary movies. They're fun to watch, and even more fun with friends! Haha.. OK do any of you remember the time when we watched "Godsend" over at Jesse's house?!?!?! When Rachel and I were like... so far down in the couch we couldn't breath because we were so scared! That was so much fun! I can't believe how long ago that was! Haha That was ONE scary movie though! Y'all have to admit!

Well I love all of you immensely. I hope you're all doing amazing.. Here's my LOOKING FORWARD TO LIST:

(1) Being a Senior '07 baby! Heck yes! (2) Getting out of high school. (3) Living in Lawrence (4) My mommy passing her bar exam so she can be forever done with studying (5) Going to World's of Fun with Jon and riding the Ripcord again!! yeahhhh!!! (6) Going to California for Thanksgiving (7) My dad coming home at Christmas (8) HUGE 4 day long concert next week at Smithville Lake!!! Ohhh yeah!! Here's some people that will be there: Jeremy Camp, Newsboys, Jars of Clay, Skillet, Pillar, Superchick, Rebecca St. James, and A MILLION MORE!!! HHHeeeeccckkkk yyyyeeeaaahhhh!!!!

Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited!!!!!! Jon got me the new Snow Patrol CD yesterday! AHHH!! I love that band, for those of you who don't know. I got it yesterday for our 2 month fa sho. Yesterday was a lot of fun! Everyone enjoy the fireworks?? They were really awesome out here!!

So lifeguarding has given me, most definitely, the greatest tan of all time!! Lookin' good in da neighborhood! Haha. I haven't seen me tan in forever! I like it... I love it... I want some more of it!! Haha.. oh geez.. I'm soooooooOOOOOooooOOOOOOoooo hyper right now! Craziness......

So I just realized that there is like.. only a month left of summer! Like a month and 2 weeks about.. That's so sad! I'm not ready for school... school work... homework.... college applications....ACT....SAT.... it's too much! I can't even imagine getting back into the whole school scene.. How is it possible that I still have an ENTIRE year left in High School????!!!!??? It's not fair!! Oh well.. enough venting for me.
